Season of LAMENT! God fixed my HEART POSTURE for my HEARTBREAK.

There are seasons in life that feel like Miami, FL summer and winter all at once, when the world around you grows quiet, your soul feels both heated and heavy, and your emotions shift between burning pain and cold silence. I am in one of those seasons now, a season of LAMENT. It is a place where tears often speak louder than words, where my heart wrestles with the weight of what was and what is no more. This season has shaped the very roots of my UniqGrief Garden.

This has been my season of lament, a time when tears often speak louder than words, and my prayers sound more like sighs. When the devil tries to play tricks with my mind and make me try to believe that I’m contradicting! Lament is not weakness, it is love that has lost its way home. It is the ache of remembering what was and longing for what can never be again.

Yet, even in this deep pain, God has been near. In my grief, I have felt His quiet presence, not always in answers, but in peace that makes no sense. He has shown me that navigating through this new life does not mean forgetting, it means allowing love to grow again in the places that were once broken.

In my UniqGrief Garden, every flower and every stone holds a story. It is where heartbreak meets hope. It is where I have learned that God does not erase our pain, He transforms it. He takes the shattered pieces of our hearts and uses them to create something beautiful, something that still honors what was lost, yet continues to bloom.

Isaiah 3:26 “And her gates shall lament and mourn; empty, she shall sit on the ground.”
Isaiah 3:26 “And her gates shall lament and mourn; empty, she shall sit on the ground.”

Lament is not the end, it is the sacred ground where faith and sorrow meet. It is where God begins His gentle work of restoration. To anyone walking through heartbreak, please know this, you are not alone. God sees your tears, He hears your cries, and He is fixing your heart posture even in your heartbreak.

The UniqGrief Garden stands as my reminder that out of pain, beauty can still grow, and that even broken hearts can bloom again.
